We decided to relax today and hit the beach in Hayanis today. Branden got his first tast (so to speak) of swimming in the ocean. We chased minnows around the shallow swimming area. They had a great time and we stayed about an hour and a half. Then we walked to the JFK memorial and Korean War memorial just up the beach.
We did some grocery shopping for the rest of the stay and went back to the resort to relax and have dinner in.
Tuesday we headed out to Salem to see the Salem Witch Museum. We learned a lot about the witch trials and I bought a book that chronicles the trials. It started to rain so we decided to take the trolly tour of the city. When we finished that it continued to rain, only harder so we had lunch at a little deli/pizza place. By the time we got through with lunch there was a torrential downpour, so we opted to go see “Pirates of the Carribean, Dead Mans Chest” which was showing in the theater in the little mall we stopped in for lunch. We all enjoyed the movie but Stacy and I were disappointed that we couldn’t explore more of Salem. We had a quick dinner on the long drive back to the Cape.
