SuperBowl Sunday was cause for celebration. Not for the SuperBowl which really wasn’t really that interesting at all, but for the Birthday Party at Kevin’s house.
We had 4 birthdays to take care of that Sunday, with ages ranging from 3 to 60. Hanna Joy’s 3rd birthday, Kevin’s 33rd, Keith’s 41st and Aunt Joan’s 60th. We exchanged gifts and conversation. We snacked on chips and dip, ate cake and watched (sort of) the SuperBowl.
Everyone in the Southern California portion of our family were in attendance with Wendy calling in with her best wishes. Thanks everyone for your gifts to me. I know it gets more challenging each year to find something for me. I have a difficult time with it as well. As I get older, I find I don’t want much of anything anymore, except for everyone to enjoy themselves in my company.
The kids were well behaved and enjoyed getting dirty outside where the recent rains had yet to dry up. The Patriots won the game, did anyone have any real doubt?
Happy Birthday to all.
Happy Birthday to my brother Aric who turns 38 at the end of February. I hope your birthday is celebrated in good company and that your special day is one of the best of your 38th year. Love ya Bro.
