Ortega Highway was open as of 6:00 am when I went through without any trouble. Rain fall was light to moderate no fog. Small to medium size rocks were observed in the East bound lanes and CalTrans plow was seen at a local coffee shop in San Juan Capistrano. Hopefully, just getting some caffeine to stay awake and then off on his way to make our road safe for another day. No real road flooding, just some runoff crossing the road.
San Juan Creek had a moderate flow, but with 2 more days of rain coming we’ll see how well the repair work 1.8 million dollars worth holds up. Traffic was light this morning due to the holiday.
